As a local architecture firm based in the East Midlands, we were approached by The Pear Tree team to help transform their outdoor space into a more functional, inviting terrace for alfresco dining. This commercial terrace design project gave us the chance to combine architectural vision with practical hospitality needs—right here in the heart of Leicestershire.

A Vision for Alfresco Dining
Set in the heart of Woodhouse Eaves, The Pear Tree is a family-run restaurant and pub known for its warm hospitality, locally sourced food and community-focused values. When the team approached us to enhance their outdoor terrace area, we couldn’t wait to get involved.

Our shared goal – To create a welcoming, functional and stylish alfresco dining space that allows guests to relax, unwind and soak up the sun long into the evening.
