Website and New Branding

Welcome to our new website, complete with revamped branding. We’ve given it a lot of thought, so it’s been a while in the making.

Who knew there were so many options we had to consider? How will the website be fluid? What colour font and size do we use? There were almost too many questions to answer.

With substantial help from Richard at Rich Communications, we carried out a thorough process of rebranding, in order to build ourselves a fresh, new identity (something we felt necessary after 13 years!). Soon to follow was Dan at Mamu Computing, having a large input in our website and management database. A big thank you to both of these talented individuals for their input!

A recent article in BD magazine regarding building a website highlighted key factors we needed to consider. It included issues such as keeping it simple, how to test the site before launching etc. After reading this we felt content, as we had already given due consideration to the majority of the points raised.

To go with the above we also invested in a brand new camera, with 3 professional lenses, necessary to capture the images we wanted to show. The Art of Building’s Facebook page and Twitter accounts are fully functioning, though we can’t get Beccy off them!  We have new signage boards already on site, as well as business cards in our pockets. The Art of Building car has also had some cosmetic changes too. Keep an eye out for it.

All told it was a fun process, but we’re glad to be on the other side now. Your comments are most welcome.
