IDYLLIC ENTERTAINING IN MULTI FUNCTIONAL FAMILY SPACE

This contemporary extension has completely revived this dated Victorian, end of terrace. It has allowed the family to realise their dream of creating an idyllic entertaining and multi functional family environment. The extra large sky light, down the side return, is a very slick and cost effective alternative to a glass roof. The glass panels are stitched together with structural silicone joints and it has an internally frameless surround. Fine framed sliding doors on the back wall minimize disrupting the sight line from the kitchen through to the garden.

PROJECT DETAILS:

  • Demolish existing out house and conservatory
  • Extend into side return and towards rear creating wraparound extension
  • Construct contemporary timber framed flat roof
  • Create new downstairs WC and cellar entrance
  • Extension size 7.70 m x 1.50 x 5.40 m across the back
